Yesterday Jenny had 9 miles on her schedule and was planning on getting up at 5am and going out to run. I said I'd also go so we would have our runs done before we met my friend for coffee. I let her know where there were fountains for water and she started out with me behind her. I quickly lost sight of her and continued on my own course. I was surprised to see so many people out with the sun not even up.I made it down to the end of the trail and then turned to head home. the sun was just starting to come up. I ended up with 4.4 miles- nice getting it out of the way early!

She slept in! It was 6am here! :)
Running families are lucky to have each other to run with - even if they aren't running TOGETHER necessarily, it's nice to know someone you love is out there, too...
I love to run in the morning during summer. But 5 am is a bit too early for me. On working days I start around 5.45 am. I feel so active the rest of day after a morning run.
But ... it looks like I'm the only one because I never see other runners here that time of the day.
What fun! My kids walk but they go later than I do.
