if you eat lousy the night before a run, you will run lousy. I didn't feel like I was at my best this morning and in trying to figure out why I realized I ate a lot of junk food yesterday.

That's still a pretty impressive run! But yes, so true, what we eat so affects how we perform the next day, in every respect.
Thanks for reminding me of that "Ancient Chinese secret"! And it is so true; but also applies to what you drink as well (i.e. wine!)
